To fulfil your order, you provide us with certain information (which you authorised Etsy / Etsy Pattern to provide), such as your name, postal address, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide us with additional personal information (personalised labelling, for example).

Our basis for collecting this data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are party, as in to fulfil your order. Article 6(1)(b)

How we Store your Information & For How Long
Your order request is directed to us by means of an email from Etsy / Etsy Pattern. We access this in our premises to view, fulfil your order, and produce a mailing label. We access the information electronically on password protected devices (iPad, Phone or Computer)
Once dispatched we have no further need to access this and delete the email.
In the event of needing to revisit the data we can access this through our log in to Etsy / Etsy Pattern or delivery companies. We would only revisit this data in the event of a dispute or to gather income for the purposes of year-end tax return. The data gathered will be financial only and not associated in any way with your Personal Identifiable Information.
Who We Share Your Information With
If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases.
Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the contact information below.
Change, restrict, delete. You may also have rights to change, restrict our use of, or delete your personal information.
Object. You can object to our processing of some of your information, however as we state we do not process your information beyond producing a mailing label.

The Vintage Chandlery
Soy candles burn cleaner, longer and slower than paraffin wax candles. The most important thing to remember is on the first burn, let the melt pool reach right to the edges of the candle. This could take anything up to 4 hours.
After that, keep your wick trimmed and don't burn for longer than 4 hours at a time. Any residual wax left at the end simply washes away in warm soapy water.
Do not let your candle burn right down to the bottom of the container. Discontinue use when 1/4’’ of wax remains
Soy is a living organism. It continues to expand, contract and change from its current form. It may also look frosted. These ‘flaws’ are normal and it is a clear indication that you have purchased a 100% all natural soy candle.
